There are passages that never feel quite right, no matter how many times we've worked on them. The moment the music becomes more challenging, we tense, even though that makes things harder.
In this 75-minute class, we'll look at what's actually happening in our bodies when things become difficult — and learn to help ourselves instead of get in our own way. Through guided practices informed by Alexander Technique, we'll explore how we can bring more ease to the passages that challenge us most.
This class is for pianists of all kinds.
