Rethinking Hand Position for Pianists: An Alexander Technique-informed class for piano teachers

  • Princeton Piano Teacher, LLC (map)

Many piano teachers find themselves returning again and again to hand position without seeing lasting change. This class offers a chance to step back and consider it from a wider perspective.

This interactive Zoom class will be led by guest teacher Ariel Weiss, faculty at the Curtis Institute of Music and an Alexander Technique teacher who specializes in working with musicians. It will include discussion and exploration, with time for questions.

The replay of this class will be available for participants to watch for 30 days.
